The weekend in Newport easily ranks among top 10 weekends so far.
Sailing vintage Americas Cup yachts was a truly amazing experience.
Surrounded by mahoggany beauties such as "Northern Light" & "Intrepid" dating from 1928 to 1967 , I found myself on Ted Turners old champion "American Eagle". Ended up winning the Regatta, I expected nothing less.
Also had dinner at Cornelius Vanderbilt's old "summer house"..
Decent crib.

I am impressed with the charm of this event, which comes across in the pictures. Especially with the emergence of rugger styles!
