Yes, I know you shoe-nerds who are picky about brushing and caring for your shoes will probably hate me, I hope you will at least. I'm still right though. Worn out expensive shoes are much cooler than polished expensive shoes.

Certainly. I like to wear the shit out of my Clarks desert boots, then really grease them up. Im planning perhaps to go to UK to buy some Alfred Sargents, Loakes, or other in and around quality range (not that Im exactly aware of what quality they have, but it seems to be enough considering I cant afford cordovans). I will then wear the crap out of them with a lot of act-to-them-like-I-dont-care, mud and an occasional re-greasening.
